An evening walk among thousands of lights
After dark, El Bosque Encantado reveals a different side: garden paths, illuminated figures and light sculptures create a colourful landscape among the trees. Enjoy an outdoor outing with children, your partner or friends in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, in Madrid’s Sierra Oeste.
You do not need to wait for Christmas to find a light-filled outing near Madrid. On evening-lighting days, this botanical garden becomes a fantasy walk outdoors: take your time, discover its corners and capture photographs unlike those from a daytime visit.

Daytime dinosaurs, evening lights
Dinolandia, El Bosque Encantado and Mineralandia share the same complex. To combine dinosaurs and lights, arrive early enough to explore the parks during the day and finish with the illuminated walk at El Bosque Encantado.

- 01
Start at Dinolandia
Explore the animatronic dinosaurs among the trees before 19:00, when they stop operating. The evening light walk takes place at El Bosque Encantado; it is not an after-dark animatronic dinosaur session.
- 02
Then, the garden and minerals
Use the daylight to explore the living plant sculptures and Mineralandia. Choose general admission for a combined daytime visit rather than an evening-only ticket.
- 03
Finish with the lights
On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, El Bosque Encantado’s lights switch on at 19:30. Colourful lights and illuminated sculptures transform the walk among the trees.
